2016 -17 David T. K. Wong Fellow

Meng Jin was born in Shanghai and was raised in China and the United States. She has an MFA from Hunter College, where she was a Hertog Fellow and continues to teach literature and creative writing. A Kundiman fellow, she has received support from Vermont Studio Center, the M Literary Residency, and Hedgebrook. Her fiction has appeared in Ploughshares, The Masters Review, The Baltimore Review, Zymbol, and Bound Off.

(Meng Jin worked on her first novel Little Gods during her time at UEA. This was published in the USA in 2020 and in the UK in 2021.)
